Some of Cameroon’s leading women have been using a space offered by the Swiss Embassy to learn from each other’s experiences and build trust so as to better apprehend leadership and together, address the multiple challenges women face.

According to Sarah Maria Koch – Political Adviser at the the Swiss Embassy, “Alone, nobody can do it”, this is why KAH WALLAH founder of the Movement #StandUpforCameroon calls on women to “Embrace power” and make sure “our numbers and quality of Women’s participation in politics is impactful”.

To get to this point “women must bring to play the values of honesty, sincerity, solidarity and Peace” , says Sylvie Maa Mafoo Ndongmo, Gender Specialist. And of course in line with UN Secretary General’s campaign #LeavingNoOneBehind the CEO of BIHAPH Mih Bibiana D. Says the voices, plight and aspirations of women at the grassroots must be taken into account at all decision making spheres.
